Well, today (after sleeping in til almost ten o'clock) I got in a walloping page and half and one measly title graphic that isn't even for a chapter that will come around in this month. *sigh* (It's really cool looking, though, if I do say so myself.)

I dunno what I'm gonna do about this, but Tuesdays have got to start shaping up. Also, I found out that because we payed our tax fees automatically out of our rebate we won't get our stimulus check until the middle of June. Apparently they have to physically mail them because of the way we payed our fees for getting the paperwork filed. Is that not the biggest load of bull ever?

One the other hand, though, it's probably good for me because I will be back from the trip by then. That way I can stash one hundred of it away to pay for my own web host fees for one year. To actually pay for the host will be about eighty five dollars (6.75 or so per month) which leaves me fifteen dollars to pay for ads with. Not a lot, but with the Project Wonderful ad service I can set however much I want my bid to be and I'll only be charged as long as that bid is the highest. This can be as low as a few dollars.

Of course, should the worst happen and this not be enough I may have to break down and get a temp job. I cannot express the distaste I have for this idea, though. Once I have my own webhost I can set up a tip/donation jar and maybe I'll have enough ads running that this will bring in enough readers to make a temp job unnecessary. I can't do it now, I found out, because wordpress has a clause against using your site for commercial uses. My ultimate goal would be to make enough to buy one of the new iMac desktops (my god, they're so GORGEOUS) but that will be lightyears away. I waited a long time for my laptop, though, so the lust and covetousness I'm feeling for the machine is nothing new.

That's it for now, cheers!
