The eyes have it

sethgrayBad puns aside, it seems things are doing better. Now that a little over an hour has gone by (almost an hour and a half), I have both contact lenses in. The left begins to sting every little while, but it's better than being blind.
For those that think I'm being hyperbolic, I can assure you I'm not. In North America, legal blindness is described as vision at a power of 20/200 or worse without correction. If I don't wear my correction, my vision is at the level of 20/400. I'm blind, guys, like seriously.
Not quite so blind as yahrlan, or my aunt, but blind nonetheless. In fact, I'm pretty sure that as I get older I'm going to need lasik surgery and still have to wear correction.
