sethgraySo, If I wrote a few short stories about an earthbound angel would anyone be interested?
Some of you may remember this post where I talked about an idea I had for a story. At the time, I didn't want to do it because it involved angels and I've been avoiding all things religious like the plague. I didn't figure I was at a "place in my life" where writing about religious concepts would be conducive to my mental health.
But that thought is childish and juvenile, and since I'm rapidly approaching the day where I'll no longer be able to claim childhood, I figured I'd better get the hell over it. It was time to put up or shut up. Either my convictions are firm enough that I can write about these things with impartiality, or I've no right to claim conviction.
Since then I've been developing the idea, and pretty much the entire first story is in my head. So, without further ado, here is the title card I've made for it:
I'm not totally satisfied with it yet. I'm still not 100% on the fire effect, and the sword might undergo some more tweaking. But mostly, this is how it will look.
