I think most 12 year olds would be horrified depending on how old they were getting the sneak preview of. The older the individual the more the hopes and dreams would be torn away for the 12 year old unless like Scrooge it's only the shape of things that might be.
I think my 12 year old self would be especially traumatized though because it isn't just hopes and dreams that have changed, I've had an entire religious and sexual shift since then.
Hell, 12 year old me would be more than horrified. He'd probably faint.
*grins* That is cliche. Guys are suppose to 'pass out' not faint. Yeah. You've done a major reorganization from where you started off at 12. Perhaps reorganization is the wrong word, let's try discovery. Discovery is what life is suppose to be about.
