My first day on the job

sethgrayToday was the first day I started treating writing like a career. I set my alarm for eight, got up, showered, and all of that to sit in front of my computer by nine. It took me a bit to get into the swing of things but then I hit my stride. I took an hour and a half for lunch (just cause I got distracted) and then got back into it. By the time all was said and I done I'd managed six pages and a bunch of touch ups as well as a few changes to the website itself.
To those of you who aren't writers six pages won't sound very impressive for an entire day's work, but trust me: it's a lot. Two pages more than my daily page count, in fact.
Anyway once that was done, my aunt and I had to go shopping. We stocked up on things I could cook by myself (read: put in microwave) and then we went out to get dinner. But because today is Monday we didn't get to eat right away because it's her movie night. I tagged along with her and her movie buddy to see Spiderwick. It's actually quite good, I was surprised.
Anyway, so now it's nine thirty and I finally get to post to my blog, check my webcomics, and generally bs. Woo woo.
Oh, I almost forgot. I will start posting chapters on MONDAY MAY 5TH.
